The Shannon River House

This is the main bedroom in the house. It has a four posted antique bed with a new mattress. There is a sofa bed in the room that extends into a double bed. The room shares a bathroom with other guests. The bathroom is in the corridor, outside the room. It would be very helpful if you could tell us how you would like the room set up for your arrival. There are various options which are listed below. The room can be set up as follows: Double bed Double bed and single bed. Double bed and single bed and slide out child’s bed. An infant cot is available. Please let us know before your arrival how you would like the room configured. We would like to draw your attention to certain aspects of this house that have caused confusion with guests. This is a home share and not a hotel. Unless you have booked exclusive use of the whole house or one of the cottages, you might be sharing the house and common areas with family members and other guests. You have paid for more than your bedroom we urge you to make use of the entire house and enjoy the gardens, parkland and common rooms as well as your bedroom. If you’d like to be shown around the house and gardens, the host is very happy to oblige. This is a family home and we have friendly dogs living with us at one end of the house. To most guests this is a bonus, but if dogs aren’t your thing, please let us know and we will keep them away from you during your stay. You might wish to consider staying in one of the cottages instead. Please look closely at the pictures we have posted since the automated descriptions on the booking.com platform do not clearly address these points. If you are put off please note that our cancellation policy means that you have 24 hours to reconsider your booking and receive a full refund.
